Delete your account

In the Kheja_Link app

Deletion is immediate and you can do it yourself:

• Open the Kheja_Link app and sign in.
• Tap the Account tab.
• Scroll to the bottom and tap “Delete my account”.
• Type DELETE to confirm, then tap “Delete for good”.

On the website

Sign in at www.khejalink.name.ng/login, open your Account page (www.khejalink.name.ng/account), and use “Delete my account” at the bottom.

If you cannot sign in

Email ubike418@gmail.com, or WhatsApp +254 710 655709, from the email address or phone number on your account and ask us to delete it. We confirm your identity and delete the account within 7 days.

Delete some of your data, and keep your account

You can delete parts of your data yourself at any time, in the app or on the website, without deleting your account. Each is deleted straight away and permanently:

• A listing (landlords), with its photos, videos, contact numbers and exact location: Account → My listings → tap the red bin (Delete listing) next to it. On the website: Dashboard → Listings → Delete.
• A saved home: tap the heart on the listing again.
• An alert, or a "notify me" on a home: Account → My requests → Waiting for → tap the bell (Stop notifying me).
• A house request: Account → My requests → Requests → Withdraw.
• Your phone number or other profile details: Account → edit your profile, clear the field and save.
• Anything else — notifications, messages you sent us, or a house you gave us — email ubike418@gmail.com or WhatsApp +254 710 655709 and we delete it within 7 days.

What is deleted

Everything linked to your account is permanently deleted:

• Your profile: name, email, phone number and password.
• Listings you published, with their photos, videos, contact numbers and exact location.
• Saved homes, alerts, house requests and houses you gave us.
• Messages you sent and the replies, your unlock and payment records with Kheja_Link, and your notifications.

What is kept

Nothing that identifies you. Paystack, which processes M-Pesa and card payments, keeps its own record of a payment under its own policy and the law.
